  Makes it easy to check battery status. Red, Yellow and Green LED's.  Trimmer Resistors let you adjust the voltage threshold to turn each LED on. SO it could be set so Yellow is Normal, and Green is Charging (in a Car), or the LED's indicate Battery depletion (in an application like an electric fence battery).
