The T1 and T2 transistors work as a slow-moving multivibrator which determines the repetitive frequency of whining.
Frequency is given by RC cells in transistor collectors.
The rectangular signal from the collector T2 is guided to the integrator R6, R7, C3 where the saw-to- triangular voltage in multivibrator rhythm.
This voltage is further fed to the oscillator T3 operating at the "oscillation" frequency, the voltage on the base of this transistor changes linearly,
the generator frequency and the amplitude of the generated frequency change, the resulting sound is similar to the whirling,
since the capacitor C3 is periodically charged and discharged, every other glimpse would be unnatural, from low tones to upward and the cat gurgling the opposite,
from higher tones to lower. This unnatural mouthing blocks transistor T5, shorts this T4-based signal - this transistor works as emitter tracker and end stage,
high input resistance does not burden and dispose of the T3 generator, does not affect its operation. The piezo is connected to emitter resistance,
the volume is "just", how loudly a little kitten meows.
Meow!
I received the parcel today and some minutes later my children took this Kit out. It was confiscated ;-))
Now 2 hours later it is finished and my kids are happy and our dog is not so happy ;-))
Good and nice. Great sound.
